Brian Crawford lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he does corporate communications by day and writes fiction in his garage in the early mornings. He was named a 2019 Breakout 8 Writer by Epiphany and The Authors Guild. His work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and his story collection was longlisted or a finalist for the Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction, Press 53 Award for Short Fiction, SFWC Literary Award, Regal House W.S. Porter Prize, Tartt Fiction Award, and Spokane Short Fiction Prize.

Brian’s work has appeared in Crazyhorse, Arts & Letters, Epiphany, Carve, New South, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Vestal Review and elsewhere.
